ABOUT US

Soli Deo Gloria School of Music exists to provide a comprehensive music education for students of all ages to experience God’s great gift of music. We strive to provide an enjoyable learning experience, giving our students a hands-on musical experience from the very first lesson, while also aiming for a comprehensive approach to music instruction, including music theory, music appreciation (history), and basic singing (solfege) skills.

OUR MISSION

Our goal is to equip our students to become well-rounded musicians, capable of providing music for others to enjoy (performance) and to use to worship God. We teach them to play independently in solo and group settings (for example, accompanying voices or instruments).

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

We believe God created music for us to worship Him and to enjoy, and that music education can have a positive impact on many areas of learning. We consider it a privilege to teach Christian children for them to glorify God through music in their homes and churches. Much of the curriculum we use with our students contains words from traditional hymns and biblical truth.

  • We've had a wonderful experience with Soli Deo Gloria School of Music! Adriana has been an incredible piano teacher for my daughter, who started out very shy and unsure of herself. Through her patience, compassion and excellent teaching, my daughter has gained so much confidence- not only in her playing but also in herself. It is clear that Adriana truly loves teaching and has a gift for connecting with people. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a piano teacher!

  • Having my children in Austin and Adriana’s studio over the last year has been an absolute delight. Their love for their students, their craft, and their Lord shines through in every interaction, and we look forward to studying with them for many years to come!
